COACHING REQUIREMENTS
Before proceeding to registration below, please read the following requirements for all coaches and team parents:
Certification Requirements
- Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification is required for all participants. For more information on course schedules and registration please click the link below: http://youthsports.rutgers.edu/educational-courses/volunteer-coaches Note that Warren Township may be offering the course as well but they do not list their dates on the website above. You must contact their rec department directly to get the dates and registration info. Course is free for Warren residents.
- Heads Up certification/recertification through USA Football is required for all football coaches and team moms. For more information and a link the USA Football please click the link below: https://usafootball.com/development-training/certification Certificate and badge will need to be presented.
- Finger Printing: This is a mandatory requirement for ALL volunteers and you must ensure your fingerprints are on file and up to date with Warren Township. Fingerprinting is done by IdentoGo with all instructions, forms and process for updating the town accessible through this link http://www.warrennj.org/223/Step-3-Fingerprinting
- A background check will be run on each participant through Pop Warner by the league commissioner.
Documentation Requirements
- 2024 PWLS Application will be sent to all volunteer's once you have registered in the system as a Volunteer
- Executed signature page of the Risk Management handbook from the Pop Warner National website.
